There's a guy named Ashley in Gone with the Wind. I don't think Ashley was used for a girl's name until...1960s...?

yeah that how i read things.

and ashley is not always a girls name..because one time i was playing Sims with dani and we made a guy(with a mowhawk, though) and named him ashley and dani would never incorrectl name anything unless she wanted to be really mean cuz it wsa character she didn't like.

Ashley is a boy's name :3 I live in the UK, and Ashley is predominantly a boy's name rather than a girl's name. One of my very good friends is called Ashley and he's a guy! ^^ Just thought I'd let you know it's plausible!

By the way I love your comics, and your boys are always so hot/cute/any other word I can think of that means those things X3 <3
